Visual Field Work

These still images are made alongside my work as a filmmaker, often while moving through varied environments and working conditions. While not conceived as studio-based work, the photographs prioritize attention, presence, and responsiveness to place.

The work spans digital capture and analog processes, including 35mm and 120 film, and is presented here as digital scans. Many of these images were made while traveling, working, or embedded within longer-term projects.

Together, the images reflect an ongoing practice of working quickly, adapting to changing conditions, and producing strong visual material in real-world settings.
